The Genesis E320 gas grill falls in the medium-size category. This Weber grill is tricked out burners galore. Three main burners plus a side burner. The grates are coated-cast-iron.
Weber advertises this model having 42,000 Btu/hr. output and it’s backed with a 10-year burner warranty.
Tests validate that this grill provides excellent heating evenness of the main cooking area and low-temperature grilling. It also excelled in low-temperature grilling. The sturdy cart provides ample shelf-space and an easy to read fuel gage.
One point worth mentioning is that the center knobs do get hot with prolong cooking at the high setting. It does not have a infrared burner nor rotisserie-ready.
After head-to-head testing and comparison, the Weber Genesis E320 is a highly recommend gas grill to buy.
Vermont Castings Signature Series VCS3507P
Another gas grill you’ll be happy with is the Vermont Castings Signature Series VCS3507P.
Like the Weber model, the Vermont VCS3507P is a medium sized grill with three-burners and coated-cast-iron grates.
This model performed admirably providing excellent heating evenness even when grilling at low-temperatures.
Vermont rates this model at 37,500 Btu/hr. and stands behind the grill with a 10-year burner warranty.
This model does not have an infrared burner, rotisserie, side burner or fuel gage. And although it performed exceptionally well during testing, some comments from owners were less than laudatory. Most notably were complaints about the stainless steel frame rusting prematurely. That said, this grill tested well and is a recommended buy.
Char-Broil Red 463250509
If your looking for great value medium size grill, the Char-Broil Red 463250509 is an excellent choice.
This gas grill provides excellent even heating with the main burners plus very good grilling at low temperatures.
This model comes with three main burners that provide infrared heating. It also is equipped with a side burner and cast-iron grates. The cart is sturdy and offers plenty of shelf space.
Char-Broil advertises the 463250509 model has an output of 38,000 Btu/hr and provides a lifetime warranty on the burner.
The Char-Broil Red 463250509 is several hundred dollars less than the models listed above but does a great job grilling. If you’re for a good grill to buy, this model is recommended.
